Brothers has some legit fried chicken,crawfish pies etc. I stop at the one in Avondale on the North side.
There is a hot tamale stand there also. I’ve been going to that stand 55 + years. They still taste the same.

Popingos is good -- it's almost too clean for gas station food.
Old school Rende's on Hwy. 30 may have been the best ever, but they totally lost the thread a few years back.
Still has the coldest tall boys on ice and surprisingly good talent on the register.
