No worries I got a bottle full of oxycodone.

This was my lucky week. I had Ketamine, Morphine, Fentanyl, and oxycodone all for the first time.

Amphetamine salts are still just amphetamines. Hell, it's still just amphetamine if it's a non mixture of the dextro or levo isomers.

But if you're truly a pharmacist, can you tell me why some won't disclose the generic brand they have in stock? Do you at least agree that not all generics are made equally the same, particularly when it comes to adderall?

I used to work retail for a chain. I’ve always told people what brands we had in stock on everything except pain meds, because folks buying stuff off the street had a preference.

The reasoning behind not disclosing a brand if we are talking big national pharmacies is likely because they don’t have time. Literally as soon as they hang up the phone with a customer, it rings again. 90% of the calls are from people asking the price of the medication or if its it ready. Things that can be answered by simply downloading an app. Its like that non stop from 9am-6pm. They are all short staffed, especially now that they are doing covid testing.

They also won’t appease to customers requesting a certain brand. Thats how you end up with 4 different brands of the same meds with half empty bottles because everyone wants a certain brand. So there really isn’t a point to disclose. You get what they have or go elsewhere.

To your last point, no. The only thing different is fillers. Unless you have a dye allergy, it shouldn’t matter what brand you get. Most of the time its old school doctors brainwashing patients that they need a certain brand.

I’d urge all of you to use your local independent. You will get much better customer service and have a much less likely chance of having the pharmacy give you the wrong meds.
