There was zero reason for him to engage that way.

Why didn’t he cop just get on the microphone in his car and tell him to drop the gun and put his hands up?

It’s clear from the ring video he never pointed the gun at the cops.

It looks like there was no way the cop could even tell he had a gun from that angle.
