That just gets you in the front door and gives you no say whatsoever in how the club is run. It's an expensive gym membership. Their website says that upon reaching the age of 35, you must buy an ownership share in the club to remain in the club or join the club for the first time and the ownership share gets you voting rights in the club's operation.

Who knows what that costs?

I can't speak for now, but I was a member when I was married. 1000 dollar buy in and about 200 a month, plus you had to spend about 60/month on dining. Could be off a bit, but that was about it.
