I just heard a commercial on the radio about visiting California. "Such a beautiful place. Amazing this and that..." I searched bike tours in California. Found an article and this video.

It really is amazing!

This is California. Bike Trail - Santa Ana

I used to ocassionally ride my bike along the Santa Ana River bike path when I lived in Huntington Beach. The river in that area is channelized into what is basically a large concrete drainage ditch. It's not much to look at.

Whats fishy is if you Google map this area there are not bum huts visible. So are they editing it or is this a recent development?

LINK

After doing street view, the bum huts dont show up until May 2017. Maybe it has something to do with the 2016 election.

If you look close on the Google Maps link you provided you can see what appears to be small structures with colored "roofs". The encampment has grown a lot since I lived there a decade ago. It used to be only a couple of spots along the bike trail and near Angels Stadium. What's eye-opening is that some of those apartment complexes you see on the left side probably rent for $2.5-3k/month.

Let them drown in the filth of the Illegals and the crime that will come with it.

They wanted it, they got it

The comments are interesting on that video on facebook. Typical political comments but its interesting to see people spin. People there that support them being a sanctuary city are asking why do all of them come there and not other counties.

We want to be a sanctuary city but we dont want the bad / dirty people. Some even blamed it on Trump and the rich people from the south.

Tons of them were offered help with housing or jobs, not many of them wanted it.
