Bifocal contacts

Has anyone here tried them?
I’m to the point that I have to remove glasses to read up close, or remove contacts when I know I’ll be needing to see up close.
Getting old sucks
Presbyopia sucks

Mrs. is the same way. She has to have readers for up close, OR, one contact for distance, one for close.

I tried bifocal contacts but could never get comfortable with them.
I use multifocal contacts and it's much better and haven't had any issues.
Once you hit certain age it happens.

I have been wearing them for years. When I first started, they were enough to make it unnecessary to use readers (glasses) to read a menu or the paper. As years passed, I started needing the readers more and more.
I've never had an issue with them being uncomfortable.
Bottom line: they may help a little, but if you're over 40, you might as well suck it up and get readers at the drug store.

I just keep a pair of cheap glasses with me, because I only wear one contact in my right eye, left eye is almost 20/20.
