Anyone had their biceps muscle reattached at the elbow? Snapped mine moving some storm debris after taking several trees down two weeks ago. Having it repaired this Friday. Wondering how long was your recovery? I work a desk job so how long before returning to work? Just can't sit for too long, probably ADD......

If only the mule were that large and uncontrollable!

I really did tear the tendon trying to hold a large limb against a front end loader. Freak accident. Just snapped like a big rubber band.

Usually guys are splinted to prevent ebow extension and disruption of the repair for 2 weeks, then start gentle active range of motion. Generally no lifting for 6 weeks.

Find a good PT/OT in your area that works with postop ortho surgeons regularly.

ETA: Oh and my condolences on the elbow AIDS.
