A good quality Hook & Pick tool set will save you a lot of headache when fixing things. A 4 tool Milwaukee set is $20 at Home Depot.
For those who said Knipex adjustible pliers, I could not agree more. It’s amazing how much better they work than every other brand out there.

Klein Tools Diagonal-Cutters given to me years ago by an electrician that bought a new one. I was a framing carpenter at the time and would literally cut 12 penny nails. I've used them for over 25 years and they still cut well, guitar strings when installing, weed eater string, nails when demolishing old fences etc. Well made tool that was free but you can buy for about 30 bucks.
