You can't fit a 3rd row in the regular JGC.
The new Grand Cherokee L that has a 3rd row is 15 inches longer with a wheelbase 7 inches longer than the regular Grand Cherokee.
The regular Grand Cherokee is a mid size at best.

Their full sized vehicles are the new Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer.

Jeep doesn't even make the Liberty anymore so I don't know why you are bringing it up. Their smaller vehicles are the Renegade, Wrangler, Compass, and Cherokee.
