Gonna start by scratching any country off the list where Islam is the official religion.
I lived there two years. I guess they can change for the worse but I found there is an even balance when it comes to Muslims. There was a movement to teach Arabic in the schools and the non-Muslims raised holy hell about it and the measure was shot down. Another instance a Muslim government director suggested they ban alcohol during the COVID lockdown. He was publicly berated and just shut up immediately.

I think I would rather live in a Muslim country than an atheist country, as long as they didn’t force me to convert or anything.
