Best place for dog adoption...

My sister recently took on a third dog(already has 4 kids, and her husband is around but he doesn't help with anything). She is looking for a good place in the Nola area to give the dog up for adoption, since she now realizes she can't handle 3 dogs and 5 kids.

If any of you are interested, it's a white lab/beagle mix that's very good with kids and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He's potty trained, but may chew on a shoe every now and then, but that can be fixed. TIA for any help.
