I upgraded the wheels on my office chair to roller blade style wheels. They don't roll on my medium-high pile carpet as well as the stock ones that came with the chair.

I'm looking at adding a high quality mat, because the cheap ones always crack within a year. Anyone have experience with high quality of glass chair mats and have any recommendations?

I've got one, had it about 2 years, has not shown any signs of wear and no indentions into the carpet and its a perfect slide, no catches.

The only con to it that Ive noticed, is that there is so little friction that it takes a little time to get used to slipping and sliding everywhere. But after you get used to it, its great.

I bought a Vitrazza but I wouldn't know. Waited a month and it came in broken. I could hear the glass rattling around in the box when i picked it up off the porch. Waiting over 2 weeks for replacement and no notification of it shipping yet.

Is this a thing? Are there really high end chair mats?

I have a tempered glass Lorell from Costco for high pile carpet and it's great.

I bought a Vitrazza back in April when we all started working from home. I also changed out the wheels on my chair to the roller blade style wheels.

It glided effortlessly, a bit too much for me.
Between moving too easy and the fact the wheels where almost 2" taller than normal wheels, I ended up getting rid of the roller blade wheels and ordered a set from Amazon by Atomdoc. I love this combo now.

The Vitrazza mat is super nice.
I would buy again.

Not sure what Vitrazza is made of but the bamboo mats work pretty well.

I used to sell office supplies.

Deflecto makes the best chcairmats. They make a heavy duty, extra thick version.

They are pricey...but have lifetime, full-replacement warranties.

It needs to be the thickest they have....maybe the "Execumatt"...

Why would anyone use anything else. They last forever.

RTA: Anything smaller than the 60x60 is a waste of money.
