Why don't you just get a Tahoe/Suburban? Much better vehicles and look so much nicer.

Yeah, I'm looking for a year or two used with 20k to 30k miles, preferably one that's certified with an extended warranty. I don't care the suvs hold their value better. They cost a lot more, and I'm not into spending a lot on a depreciating asset.

ALL cars depreciate, SUVs depreciate at a lower rate than do minivans.

You can tailor the amount you spend on either as to year, model and mileage. If spending $25k is your goal, there is a better investment in the correct choice of SUV then in a minivan.

You ask for advice and refuse to even consider it when it is given. Great life skill there.

Never asked for advice regarding suvs, and couldn't get her into anything she would like at the price point I'm at. I like to get 1 year out of a car for every two thousand I spend. I'm looking at spending 20g's, hoping to get 10 years and sell it for a couple thousand bucks.
