Assuming you shaving it is a one time thing there is no point in going out and buying clippers (at least $20). Just go to the barber and get them to do it for you. Though it'd probably make for a good laugh for your friend when you show up with a shaved head that is all cut up from you trying to shave it yourself.

Seriously. Never had any issues using any razor I had handy.
