I didn't mean you in particular. I was respectful in the first fifty threads like this but over time I stopped giving a shite. When posters are contaminating this board time and time again with this propaganda despite being never able to ever offer proof or having been disproven it's quite annoying. This isn't even debated academically, you'd be laughed at even asking the question.

It clearly lists first hand accounts and primary sources genius. Man you are so bitter and full of white guilt you have relegated your insignificant existence to waging what you believe to be "academic" warfare on those with differing beliefs. I am close to a masters in American military history, I think I would know what I'm talking about than some social studies teacher lol. Get a grip.

And I'm not sure you know what a primary source is because the "esteemed historian" Mr Tison (which university is he at again?) the author of this blog post cites websites, one newspaper article, a magazine and another online project from the North Carolina Confederate Comission- all recently published . So again where's the primary source citations? Just because he makes up stories that supposedly happened during the war doesn't mean it's true. So has me Tison won any awards for his scholar blog posts? A Bancroft or Pulitzer perhaps? Have you even read a real history book with footnotes? Try Blight, Foner, McPherson, Levine, Johnson, Berlin, Oakes, Mccury, Gallagher, Ayers, Dew, Brands... Again you're a fricking joke an again an idiot if you believe this filth. Do you even know how to determine credibility? And ask for a refund on your masters

You remind me of the guy who got punked in the bar by Matt Damon. My masters work is here and there and only for my own enjoyment. Not planning on using to peruse the message boards and justify my sad existence as some do. It also sounds as if you came out of college without any original thoughts and just read books and use others ideas as your own. It leads me to ask you this one question.......do you like apples? Lol not quite, my wife does the same thing he does, a history teacher. And I work for a manufacturer as a sales rep. I probably get served fries by the kids he teaches because when they get to college all their revisionist history flunks them out lol.
