Must be a parish by parish type policy. I have a young cousin who has a beard approaching Duck Dynasty levels who attends public schools in Ascension and they apparently don't have any problem with it.

Is this real life? So the kid purposefully doesn't follow the simple rules knowing the consequences and now is being treated as a hero? My God what is happening now a days?
