Do people still tell kids "If I see the easter bunny I am going to shoot him?" I remember when I was.. I don't know, a preteen, early teen, we were at my "grannys" house and it was sometime before Easter and some adult there told one of my cousins who was... IDK..3, 4, 5ish at the time "you ready for the easter bunny?

He better get to your house before I see him because I am going to shoot him" and the kid went nuts. My aunt (in law), his mother, went insane and told the dude to go tell her child that no one shoots the easter bunny, but it seemed like that was something people just told kids when I was young. Just joking around with them.. But when I was a kid, I always had doubts about the Easter Bunny and tooth fairy. At least Santa had a sleigh and reindeer that fly, but a rabbit that hops around to everyone's house giving everyone candy? And he does this in one day? Even as a kid, never made sense to me
