Where is the OT's resident Barret-Jackson auction guy?

The theory is once the boomers start dying the market for older cars will soften. Most people want the cars that were cool in their youth.

The only reason I would question this is something that I saw on a show that I did not like. On Wayne Carini's show he went to Dubai and those very rich Saudi's are starting to get into collecting American muscle cars. They buy cars online and have them shipped overseas.
Very few Americans can outbid those guys if they want a car. May not be too long before the nicest and most expensive cars all reside in foreign countries.

I didn’t know that but it doesn’t surprise me. The members of the royal family of Brunei reported had several warehouses for their car collection of 5,000+ cars. Some warehouses didn’t have proper climate controls and the cars molded. They just pushed the dirty cars into the sea.
Listen to the commentary. It’s all nostalgia driven. After awhile, no one will have memories of the dad’s T-bird and the price will drop.

Holy crap they have a 1932 Ford 3-window on there now that is absolutely beautiful. At $50k right now.
Kind of a copper/orange color. I saw two or three cars with that color yesterday. Seems to be very popular and it does look great on the older vehicles.
