Please read the following notice from Bo Danos:

South Florida Tigers,

I hope this email finds you well!

My name is Bo Danos, and I'm an LSU alumnus living in Miami. Over the past several months, I've been working with the LSU Alumni Association to reestablish an active LSU Alumni Chapter serving South Florida.

Recently, we were fortunate to reconnect with the previous chapter's contact list, and I wanted to personally reach out to invite you back into our Tiger community.

We've already received an enthusiastic response from alumni across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, and beyond, and there's a genuine excitement about bringing our chapter back to life.

As football season approaches, we're looking forward to kicking things off with our Official LSU Football Watch Party for LSU vs Clemson, and using it as the beginning of a new chapter for LSU alumni in South Florida.

Beyond football Saturdays, our vision is to create a community where Tigers can reconnect through networking events, crawfish boils, happy hours, volunteer opportunities, family friendly gatherings, and opportunities to support future LSU students.

We're excited to continue the tradition that so many alumni helped build while creating new opportunities for the next generation of Tigers in South Florida.

Our current home for LSU football watch parties is Shuck N Dive in Fort Lauderdale, a place that has long been associated with LSU fans in the region. We are also exploring additional opportunities and gathering places throughout South Florida as the chapter continues to grow.

Whether you've been involved for years or it's been a while since you've connected with fellow Tigers, we'd love to welcome you back.

If you're interested in joining us, simply reply to this email and let me know where you're located and if you'd like to receive updates on upcoming events. I'd also love to hear any ideas or memories you have from the previous chapter, as we build on its foundation and create something even stronger together.

Thank you, and I hope to meet you soon. We are also hosting a social meet-up to get reconnected both this Saturday August 1, and next Saturday, August 8, from 2pm-4pm. I would love to have you join us.

Geaux Tigers!

Sincerely,

Bo Danos

I legit thought they had some sort of crawfish boil in S. Florida earlier this year. I must be missing something here.

Sort of related but 2018 Miami game at jerryworld

One of my all time favorite wins. I learned first hand how awful Miami fans are. Worse than any other fan base I’ve been around in person including Bama fans.

So much fun shoving it in their face as they sadly walked out of ATT stadium. Boy they sure got quiet after running their mouths all day.

Burrow’s first start as a Tiger. Pregame scuffle and he was in the middle of it ready to go to war. early glimpse of what was to come over the next 24 months.

You must be thinking of the Orlandeaux Chapter, a large chapter best known for its many fundraising events, especially its annual Crawfish Boil.

As with any fan base, there will always be a few bad apples. Personally, though, I've been fortunate to have great friends and family who are Alabama fans, as well as family and friends who graduated from UM. I've never had a bad experience with either fan base, whether at LSU, Alabama, Bowl game or down here.

Make sure you donate a lot of money to the NIL fund too!

Full Disclosure: 25% of the fund will go to administrative expenses (my salary).

Bo Danos

That’s a Lafourche Parish name if I’ve ever heard one.
