Well it can go two routes. If it's excessive and other childern or adults around. I warn them not to disturb the peace for disorderly conduct. But typically I ask them if they have real questions/concerns. If they continue the behavior I walk away and end the traffic stop. No need to poke the bear.

How many times have you answered/ commented about a doughnut in this thread? What do you think about the repeated questions about said doughnut and the jackasses that can't read the pages before but get their jollies off asking the same question for the 12th time?

How do you keep from becoming cynical/jaded about people when you deal with so many sleazeballs and put up with so much BS every day?
Yesterday we went to a LEOs house to give him an estimate on some work and he was so uptight and serious like we were serial killers or something. His wife was very sweet and friendly, but he was cold as ice. I felt really sad for him. It took us 30 minutes to get him to crack a smile.

Why do cops never get cool haircuts?

Honestly it's hard. Seeing the worst of society causes a toll on people. Myself included. Some days are good some days make you want to never leave your home. I try to think most of the people I deal are or interact are good folks. Not everyone is Ted Bundy.
But yeah some of the older school folks are salty towards everyone. Hell I might be like that in 10-20 years.

Define cool? Like slick over millennial hipster look?
Well because we want to look professional. Not some kid living off mommy and daddy's money.
I got with a buzz cut.
