That's the first time I've ever actually seen a SF cop do anything.
This kind of crime has been going through the roof in the Bay Area the past couple years.

They do all of the time but it's not captured on camera or typed up in a press release. The public only sees the overt uniformed police force not that covert actions of narcotics agents, street crimes, and detectives. The latter prefer it this way.

San Fran Mayor will probably ask that the criminals be given light sentences, and Police officer given the street beat, and pay cut.
