I don't get sick often. I'm usually the caretaker. But when I do I'm good as
Long as everyone leaves me the hell alone. Check on me every couple of hours, see if I need something to drink, AC and fan on. Tomato soup and grilled cheese.
And, did I mention, leave me alone?

I rarely get sick.

The last time I got sick was in 2008. I got the flu.

I was out for 2.5 days. No drugs to help with the symptoms until I could go to the student health center.

Usually my sicknesses are sinus related and I can work through it. But I don't call that or being under the weather sick. I'm just slow. Sick is the real deal.

The worst is feeling the nasal drip and scratchy throat the first day it's coming on

Maybe that is why guys are worse at handling being sick than girls.

We consider being sick different being the sick. So, guys can operate where girls are considering themselves sick. And guys consider themselves as sick when they are really really bad off. So, qualitatively, being sick is harder for guys, only because being sick to guys is the harder version.

Never been one to get sick. Haven't had a sick day since 2008 and had food poisoning.

Haven't called in sick since June of '94...food poisoning as well. Don't see how people just lay around in bed all day when they don't feel well.

Points for effort OP, but trying to establish a record will not make it any less likely you won't get hammered for not going to work tomorrow.
