At most your degree gets you in a door.
What you do at that point-- performance-- is king. No one will look back in 3 years and say 'Oh shite, we have 6 guys from Tennessee Tech, and one from LSU! We have to start firing those guys!'

Probably not any type of engineer. Everyone with actual engineering degrees knows you have to make fun of industrial engineering.
