Godparents have always been a thing. Mentioning it is definitely trashy.

”They”? Sounds like you’re reaching to say that not knowing more about the who one died from cancer.

The drug OD was from addiction that began from prescription. Losing a child is a bitch, I imagine. I was older though, so passed the “need” by that time. She’d already done a lot for me in relation to hers “role” as a godparent. In fact, him too.

Yes. Not having godparents would not be justice.

a godparent actually meant a backup Incase of a random death of the kids parents.
