You say that like there's any city where the train tracks run right through the middle of the country club and the high dollar neighborhood.
Point taken, and I've seen the same riding Amtrak in the NE. Check out beautiful White Plains, NY sometime.
However, going through the MS delta there aren't many "high dollar" areas. There's bad and there's worse.

Agreed with this. The stop in Yazoo City is about as bad as it gets.
I always tell people to ride the C.O.N.O. if they want to appreciate their current living situations.
