Building a new house and trying to decided on kitchen appliance brand. Was really interested in KitchenAid but I don’t see where they make a gas wall oven which I find hard to believe.

Looking for a refrigerator, 36” gas range top, 30” gas wall oven, microwave and dishwasher.

Why do they all need to be the same brand?

I just prefer everything to match if possible. The wife really wants a smudge/finger proof stainless also which KitchenAid has. Frigidaire makes smudge proof which is what we have now but have not had a good experience with it.

Miele makes a smooth top gas that is very nice. You might want to rethink a gas wall oven since only the commercial one are very reliable. Here again Miele makes the best electric wall ovens next to Gaggenau both are very expensive. Next in wall ovens brands would be Bosch and that same brand for dishwashers. Speed Queen for washing machine and any brand for dryers. Samsung has some great refrig.
Google A J Madison for all these brands and save state sales tax before it hits all of us for out of state buys. They carry all the above brands and you can get them down below what they show on their site. If you do not want order from them at least get their best prices and use as a bargaining chip for someone local. KitchenAid would be close on the bottom of my list. We had a top of the line KA dishwasher that caught fire! KitchenAid does not even make a reliable French door frig. Consult Consumers Report for some items. They will not have every brand I listed. If you are smart you will do some real studying before making a big mistake. Another good site for appliance review is Yale Appliances. Google them. It is much easier to deal with finger prints etc. on SS then to be paying for repairs.

You may be able to find a combo that matches but you're going to give up something important for it.

Believe me after a few weeks you aren't going to notice the difference in brands between your appliances.

You will notice reliability or functional issues for years to come.

Gas wall ovens are dinosaurs. They were popular in the 60's and 70's and were 24 inches instead of the standard 30 inch of today. The 24 inch gas ovens are still sold for people looking to replace their ancient 24 inch oven in their old home.
