Anyone on here have a bad experience with Letgo/OfferUp?

About a week ago I went to meet someone who was interested in a watch, when I arrived at the spot, I got out of the car. Shortly thereafter, was met by 4 incredibly shifty looking teenage males.
I asked which one was buying the watch, one steps forward and snatched the watch. I got a hold of his shirt before he made it back to their vehicle, proceeded to put him in a chokehold, causing him to drop the watch. I then let him go, they sped off, I called the cops and filed a report. Have any of you had any issues using these, or similar apps?

Man you’re lucky you didn’t get seriously hurt or killed even. After they stole it, gtfo of there, not worth losing your life over a watch.

Have heard of other teens using it for robberies as well and one victim locally had photos of the incident. So you are one of many sounds like.

What crazy is that in my instance is that it was broad daylight, in a fairly busy parking lot.
