Another thing you need to know about fighting it in court - if you win, it's tossed and all good. But if you lose, you'll not only have to pay whatever the fine is, but also the court costs, which last time I did this was around $150

a-hole state cop. 20 years on the force, a sergeant and still on the road writing tickets. Most troopers with that amount of time in have moved on to special fields so that tells me he's a certified a-hole.
