Have a old couch and washing and drying machine that need to be disposed of but I can’t place the order for the pickup today because it is Sunday. Anyone have an idea of how long it takes them to usually come get it? 24 hours?

New Orleans.

quote:

Scheduling Bulky Waste Pick-Up Residents must call 311 Monday to Friday between 8am to 5pm to schedule collection of bulky waste. Bulky waste should not be placed out for collection 24 hours prior to the scheduled date given for collection. If residents place bulky items out more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled collection, they will be fined. Small businesses are not eligible for bulky waste collection and must contract with private vendors for service.

I guess you'll know when you know....

Yea, I read that. And wasn’t sure if it meant it takes up to a week so don’t it it out until then or don’t put it out before you call.

Just put it by the road and I promise it will be gone before the sun sets.

Put it next to the road, slap a “FREE” sticker on them and let someone come by and pick them up.
