re: Anyone here ever been on an alpine coaster/alpine slide?

There’s one in Jackson, Wyoming. It has two tracks so you can race. I went down it and another man about the same age as me raced. I was a little ahead as we were going around a turn. I glanced back and he was gone. I got to the bottom and it took him a few more minutes to come down, he was covered in blood. His sled went off the tracks and he flew off at that turn. He had to climb back on and continue his way down. The poor guy was shredded. I’m sure it ruined his vacation.
