If you ask for an explanation, you should get one.

If 1 doctor says they shouldn't operate because of health concerns and another doctor says they will, the second doctor isn't always right. Especially if the 2nd doctor is a cash pay facility with no patient relationship.

Have both doctors explain the whole procedure and why they do or don't think she is a good candidate for surgery. Get as much information as you can before making a decision, you can't undo a surgery/complication.
