Bojangles, popeyes, KFC, churches, all fricking suck. Could yall use any more fake meat? This is in regards to the chicken strips. Bojangles is better than those other 3 listed but still.

Bojangles is barely in the south. South Carolina is borderline and North Carolina is democrats. Nothing good comes from states run by democrats.

This may be the most idiotic post I've ever read. South Carolina started the war, had the Confederate flag on its statehouse dome this century and is home to the most Southern city on Earth. And as far as politics goes, there isn't one Democrat in any statewide elected office in South Carolina and there hasn't been in almost a decade, which is more than one can say for Louisiana.

It is only 8:16, and I've already read the dumbest thing I'll read all day.

Have you ever visited the Bojangles in downtown Columbia SC?

I have worked all over the world with the last two decades in the Middle East and that place is by far the worst shithole I have ever seen.

I will never enter another outlet of a chain that would let a store get that shitty, nasty, full of horrible employees, and a customer base that would likely feel at home in Mogadishu.

Jr. Food Mart is the best fried chicken.

Change my mind.

Had 2 of these near me, one in lutcher one in Gramercy.
They closed. They were delicious. Lady who ran the one in Gramercy opened up her own chicken joint called jennys fried chicken and overstuffed po'boys. Po' boys not really overstuffed but the fried chicken is the best i have ever had. Hands down .

If you're referencing the one on Taylor Street, I have many times. If you're referencing the one on Elmwood, I have many times as well. If you disqualify eating at a fast food restaurant because one of its locations is in the ghetto, has bad customer service and a lot of black people, have fun eating an avocado salad at the local hipster joint.

This is my guess. It sounds like his one Bojangles experience was at the location a couple blocks from a big homeless shelter.

That's not a bad area though. Cottontown and Park Street are right there and you can walk to the Governor's Mansion from there.

True, but I have been in there when there have been multiple homeless people in there.

My food and the service was fine. But I can see how someone would be uncomfortable. But I'm also not going to make a blanket judgment on a like 500+ store company based on that one location.

That all talk in a high-pitch whiney borderline feminine voice.

First time I ever saw or heard of a Bojangles was in the 80’s and was on South side of Monroe. We ate there and 1/2 through the meal, I remember my Dad saying how nasty it was and through it in the trash. We all left and went to the KFC across the highway.

Years later a Popeyes proudly sits where the Bojangles once stood.

But in all actuality, Southern Classic chicken is probably the best.

Has Sonic gotten to the Carolinas yet? I know smoking and flat top haircuts are still in there.

Only tried it once - maybe it was the specific restaurant on a bad day, but it was awful.

I've had bad Popeye's, but it's only about 8, 10 percent of the time.

For me Bojangle's was bad 100% of the time.
