Anybody know what happens to those unclaimed sweepstakes prizes?

I wonder what happens when someone chooses to take the "cash value" in lieu of the actual physical prize item?
Take the HGTV Dream Home as an example...you can select the home, car, cash, furnishings etc or you can select the all cash option.
So what happens with that house when the winner selects the cash?
