I've said it for years that a lot of these festivals are a shite show. I'll admit that this is a very, very extreme example though.

Somewhere out there are all the people that work with/know the people that went. They likely have heard over and over about their coworker/friend going to this festival.


I would imagine many of them are laughing their asses off this weekend as this has all played out.

You shouldn't.. They trusted Jarule and a 25 year old. Neither with any experience in anything close to putting on a music festival, much less a festival in the middle of the ocean. Research the kid Jarule started this with, and you'll clearly see why this failed.

Just read another article about it. They interviewed Billy McFarland. He sounds like a total douche. Talking about how they will donate $1.50 per ticket to the Red Cross (Bahamas). 12k in some cases for a single ticket.....and people are supposed to feel warm and fuzzy over $1.50 per ticket donated?
