Pineville

quote:

Red River Treatment Center (RRTC.) has been established to serve those citizens of Louisiana who have a problem with alcohol or drugs. RRTC offers a safe and supportive atmosphere to begin the journey of recovery from chemical dependency -- a disease that is primary, chronic, progressive and fatal, if left untreated. The staff at RRTC recognizes that this disease affects the entire family. A family program has been designed to assist family members or significant others in their recovery. We offer gender specific therapy groups.
RRTC offers two separate inpatient treatment programs: (1) RRTC Medically Supported Detox is a 10-bed medically supported detoxification program dedicated to offering a safe and supportive atmosphere for individuals withdrawing from alcohol and other drugs. (2) RRTC?s 21-25 day rehabilitation program is for those individuals already detoxified and referred from other facilities. Rehabilitation involves the whole person in a holistic approach. Mentally, our clients are given education on the disease of addiction. Spiritually they are asked to redefine and discover a sense of a power greater than themselves. Physical, social and recreational skills are revitalized and emotions are dealt with and expressed in group interaction. Continuing care planning is also an essential component of each individual?s treatment.

Admissions to our medically supported detox program and our 21-25 day rehabilitation program are through referral from other treatment facilities. Individuals who are interested in services are encouraged to call Single Point of Entry, Alexandria/Pineville Alcohol and Drug Abuse Clinic at (318) 487-5191.

RRTC operates under the auspices of the Office for Addictive Disorders, Department of Health and Hospitals. RRTC is a state supported facility and fees will be assessed on a sliding fee scale. No one will be refused services due to an inability to pay.

HOPE CENTER IN MARKSVILLE

Super cheap.
30 day in-house
Can stay on as support staff afterwards in their 3/4 house

If he's just going in for booze, this place will set him straight as most are there for opiates.

The place runs off of food stamps and donations, so it costs little.

Beware though, not the best of people in rehab. It is what you make of it.

If he's drinking $20 worth of booze a day, he'll have about $600 more to chip in. If he's drinking less that that, he doesn't have a problem.

Yay! I'm not an alcoholic!

Understatement of the century. The characters you meet there will be in your brain forever.

They don't frick around, man. It's much more prison accommodations than hotel accommodations. He'll be free to leave at any time of course, and they won't hesitate to boot his arse if he's not "buying in". It's...intensive.
