We did something similar, we called it streetlight superman. Everyone would act like we were kicking the crap out of one kid when a car would approach, we would all haul butt when the car stopped. The folks would get out of the car and ask the kid if he was okay and he'd jump up and say something dumb like, "Yes, because I'm streetlight superman!" and act like he was flying away.

We also trash can bowled. Grab a full trashcan, hold it out of the car window. Accelerate to 35 mph and wait to see a few trashcans on the side of the road. Release trashcan into the stationary cans and watch the explosion in the rear view mirror. We were assholes.
