His kids out there trying to earn an honest dollar twirling a sign and all his dad does is make fun of him. Meanwhile dad is driving an old arse Camry, so maybe he could take a page from his son on working hard

Maybe i misremember the commercial but i thought the Dad was proud of him and was just driving around watching his son at his job?

His son works for Progressive. Named that because the founder is politically a progressive prick.
I would disown the sign twirling little loser.

Dad's the same guy as the surgeon who just got reinstated. "You nervous? Yeah me too... I'll see you in there."
