In 2004 the IRS sent me a check out of the blue for $1500 and said it was money I was owed due to some error they made. In 2006 they took $2000 out of my return for the $1500 check, plus whatever fees, I had "erroneously" been paid in 2004.

Mine was a headache filing. Well not mine really. I filed my mom and dads also since my mom was in the hospital from a heart attack and my dad just had surgery on a wrist he broke when he fell. Couple that with having my 5 year old daughter full time and it can be exhausting but they’ve helped me enough in life so I have no problem returning the favor.
Dad had like 4 different papers to file since he retired last year and mom had a couple because of disability. Turned into almost a whole day project. But filed on 8th, hopefully they will see some of it soon deposited.

I had to pay the bastards over 2 grand this year. Made too much money tricking girls on the quad.

We filed ours on Jan 30th and still haven't received anything. Checked the website and for some strange reason they adjusted our refund and took $40 or so off of what it was supposed to be. Not sure why but it is only $40 so I am not going to throw a fit. They said we should have it no later than the 20th.
