I find it pretty bizzare

It was great back when it was just a grass-roots term for people going out on their own and helping their fellow man in a time of need. The moment it started getting organized, selling T-shirts, taking donations, and arguing over which group was the "real" Cajun Navy, it opened itself up to the criticism, which is a shame because I do believe most people still just want to help without need for recognition.

think it has more to do with the attention they crave and seek for doing what they do....
why give shite as long as they're actually helping people and not misusing donation funds?

they will be there soon. but the fish were biting on the west side of florida. as soon as the tide stops, they will crank up the gator tails and bring fresh filets to the Bahamas.

that would obviously be fair criticism.

I'm talking about people that just hate them because they say they have a "look at me attitude."
My take on that is if two people give a dollar to a homeless man, and one of them goes and posts it on Facebook..... Those dollars are still going to be worth the same to the homeless person.

Apply same line of thinking to the Cajun Navy helping people.
