Any small business owners here use Justice Court?

My business is in Mississippi and I have only owned it a couple of years. It's been around about 20 years. I have a few debts I need to collect and am wondering how good this system is at getting the people to pay. I have about 4 accounts from 1500 to 2500 bucks that I just can't get the people to make good on. The previous owner used a collection agency but aren't they just doing the same thing and taking a third of the money?
