Then I can make anywhere from $120,000 to $150,000 or even more a year while RT are sitting at $60,000 a year with little of a clinical ladder to grow. Two years of sacrifice to make a 6 figure salary?

And not to sit here and argue with you because it really doesn't matter but some people get into CRNA school with only a year of ICU experience and some get in with only ER experience. Not much butt wiping going on in the ER. That's the beauty of nursing. We can work anywhere we choose to and have ample opportunities to expand our education and add certifications for more pay and better job opportunities.

You do realize to become a CRNA you need 2 years of ICU experience right..? You’ll be cleaning shite for those 2 years... And CNA is a nursing assistant , you mean CRNA..

And no, I meant CNA. I don't know what kind of a setting you work in but the hospital I'm at has CNAs and nursing students wiping butts and doing bed baths. Only the kind hearted nurses assist those CNAs with those things

Most ICUs are lucky to have CNAs... Even if they do, the RN is doing it with them. You think an RN responsible for a pt with multiple lines and possibly an airway is going to let a CNA turn and clean that pt by themself?

CRNA Salaries by State

Nah, in Cali they make over $200,000. Louisiana annual wage for CRNAs is $126,000.

Heck no, not if they are a halfway decent nurse. That's why I said the kind-hearted nurses do that

I thought you were talking about making that much as a therapist..

Therapist in California with my experience make between 120-130 a year, but then again the cost of living is a little different..

I make wayyyy more than that as an RN...don't know what you are talking about.

If you are only making 50-60k as an RN, you are doing something really, really wrong (unless you are just working part time).
