Any docs or nurses on the board can recommend a really good GI specialist in BR?

I am not too thrilled with the gastroenterologist I have seen in the past and since I have had my gallbladder removed he has basically said he is out of his element.
He is at the Baton Rouge Clinic so I am looking to go elsewhere and find a well rounded specialist. Any names would be appreciated.

He is an idiot. The surgeon referred me to him for a full GI work up (upper/lower scopes) prior to removing my gallbladder because my HIDA scan results were "unusual".
The GI doc found nothing and said the gallbladder surgery was. needed, which it was. It resolved the pircing pain under my right rib but I contine to deal with acute abdominal IBS pain. GI doc told me if that continued after the surgery that I would need to find another GI doctor.

my wife is a nurse at BR Clinic. Her recommendation is Dr Balart. Not sure whom you've seen there in the past, but if it wasn't him, you may want to give him a try!!
