People all over the world know about New Orleans - I was traveling not too long ago and told an acquaintance that I live in Baton Rouge, and he asked ‘oh, where is that in Canada?’ I was in the DFW area this past week and people asked where I was from and every single person asked if I ever go to New Orleans - same as when I was in Austin earlier this year, the list goes on.

You don’t like it, that’s fine but you cannot ignore that it is a vacation destination for many people. Many students attend LSU because of New Orleans, not because of what Baton Rouge has to offer.

And where are those higher end dining places in Baton Rouge again?
