"Sinkhole" seems a bit extreme for that. Just looks like a typical New Orleans fbig-arse pothole.

Lol. I used to live right there, above the labcorp on St Charles (drug testing downstairs, dig using upstairs). There was a sinkhole halfway between St Charles and Prytania when I was there. It sat there for a month before Crew showed up. And all they did was dump a shite load of 57 stone in it, and paved over it. That storm line is fricked, and the city maintenance crews are worthless. They don't do anything correct, so the problem just gets worse.

That is a perfect example of traffic control in New Orleans. In Jefferson parish, if I allowed a contractor to do that, I would've been kicked off the job.
