re: Another day, another pit bull attack

I remember growing up in the 70’s people used German shepherds and Doberman Pinschers for guard dogs. Not really as family pets. They would attack anybody who came on their property. I wasn’t aware of pit bulls back then. Now people seem to have taken pits as pets though they were bred for fighting. Doesn’t make sense to me.
