My little one woke up at like 1:30 then 3:45 then I told her she had to wait as there were guests sleeping still then 4:45...I had her stand down until 5am which we had agreed upon. So 5am was go time this year! Ugh! But I will miss these days later on I know.

As a kid it was always hard for me (and probably almost all kids) to sleep on Christmas evening. With that said it wasn't a huge issue. I could wake up as early as I wanted to but the rule in my house was no presents were allowed to be open before 9.
With my older sister it was annoying because sometimes she wouldn't wake up until close to 10. I had to shake her out of bed, lol.
Honestly I enjoyed looking at the presents though. It was cool wondering and dreaming what was inside.
