He will not be able to claim it was in response to sexual assault.

I 100 percent believe that it did happen.
Andy Dick is known for this type of behavior. I am surprised he doesn't get the shite kicked out of him more.
having said all of that, I think that he's pretty funny in certain things.

Well the guy claims he became enraged when Dick winked at him. You can see, in the video, Dick glances at the guy while he was walking towards the door.

Some here would say it's a totally proportional reaction.

You have to separate two things. One is Andy Dick being a douche and deserving of being hit. The other is a man committing battery in the form of a sucker punch. The former is karma, but it doesn't change the fact that the latter is a crime.
