Yall need to stop electing these people. We, in Mobile had one Mayor who was a fool and wasted tons of money on stupid projects and lost our cruise ship. He was booted out of office (by racists of course). Another is a lifetime city councilman who continues to get elected but who's biggest accomplishment is that stupid moonpie on the side of a building. Get your shite together NO and BR

says the PAC changed its campaign finance reports to reflect individual donations from COA employees rather than as a donation from the agency as a whole.

Is this voluntary or compulsary? Even if voluntary, I see a huge conflict if it is coming out of the employee's paychecks. And it changed it after the fact? How is this not being investigated?

Didn't Regina Barrow's son get arrested for like 2nd Degree murder or something? Think she should be more concerned about her family that the crook's "intestinal fortitude."

They already had one in place that they didn't follow

THIS!!

Well, maybe two conflict of interest prohibitions will stop it from happening next time.

I wonder if they ever heard back from the employees on if THEY had any conflicts of interest. You know, as stated by the letter sent by the board member when asked how they would know that no one else had conflicts of interest.

You know, the same board member who wasn't eligible to be a board member since November of last year, but had remained one up til then.

Spot on.... I picked up the newspaper last week for the first time in a long time, and it felt like I was in an alternate reality. I'm on the outside looking in right now but it won't be long before it's at my back door.
