Where are all the dickheads that were “ratio-ing” me the other day when I was bitching about American? I hope that airline goes bankrupt with no bailouts.

My wife was flying home (Vermilion parish) from Denver today. We’re at a hotel in Tyler now, had to drive to Dallas to get her cuz American made her miss her connection and no later flights to Lafayette, plus they kept her in the plane at the gate for over 2 hours waiting to deplane once they finally got to DFW.

For like one hour, I flew Southwest today with no problems.

You'd be wildly disturbed to hear how little IT quality control occurs at some airlines. Like, some IT team may have delayed takeoff for 60+m as the day opened on the east coast for every flight, which cascaded to all the flights those original flights were going to for the rest of the day. Due to a missing parenthesis in a command sent overnight which said client refused to QA before they had someone promote it into production.

Wasn’t it AA that said they were going all in on DEI?

Almost all companies did, it was a requirement to get investment from Blackrock, etc. Nobody is going to invest in you selling points to Chase unless you talk about your diversity efforts. I prefer my diversity in airlines to be within the top 10% of applicants, that's about it.
