Home is a personal favorite. I also like Small Town Southern Man. My dad like his was a small town businessman in the car repair business. Both songs are very touching, sound just like my dad.

This man wrote and sang “Where were you when the world stopped turning” after 9/11 and brought millions of people to tears with that song. I still get teary eyed when I hear it. And you say his songs have no depth??
How many mainstream artists have been able to bring sadness and joy to that amount of people at the same time over the last 25 years?
